Dixon and Sons Construction have the skill and capacity to undertake new build domestic property developments of varying sizes. From architectural design, to planning submission and property development, our experienced team understand the importance of working to strict development schedules and project ‘signoffs’.

Normally in this process we would expect to act as a main contractor and oversee the complete process, however are also also happy to work alongside your own subsidiary trades if required. For a complete build we would use sub-contractors for some elements that we do not usually undertake, but they would remain under our overall control and we would accept full responsibility for work.

We tailor make our package to every customers needs so if you have the plans we can use these to create the build. However, we can also produce the plans and complete the process through excavation, brickwork, roofing, plastering, kitchens/bathrooms, heating, plumbing, tiling and electric.

When it comes to brick work we take great pride in what we create and this is ranging from straight forward masonry details to more challenging specifications and produced to a high standard.

We provide all sub/super structure brick and block work, stone work, labour only or material supplied packages, comprehensive computer based estimating, brick matching and a budget and cost plan service.

We do not directly undertake design work ourselves, but work with a team of architects, who we can recommend to discuss with you your plans. We work closely with the design team and stay in contact continuously to keep you updated of the build costs and build implications.

We happily undertake the task of repointing your property to ensure that your property is once again weather proof. We also do chimney rebuilds, due to all the elements this can cause your chimney to deteriorate in time, therefore we offer a rebuild to get your chimney back to good working order.

If you would like an additional space added to your home, we can offer conservatories and porches. Conservatories can be created with various finishes such as low level walls can be in brick, block and render or UPVC finish. Unsure which you would like, contact us for an estimate and we can discuss different designs and finishes with yourself.

We are able to help you with your design or work with designs that you many already have. We can offer a labour only service, or at your request see if we can match your design from our own suppliers and offer a supply and fit.
