About Dixon & Sons Construction Ltd

Professional, reliable and experienced

From a young age I always had an interest and passion in building works, therefore leaving school I went on to start my apprenticeship in 2001 with one of the biggest building companies at the time, where 90% of work conducted was commercial builds and 10% domestic building work was carried out.

In 2002 I qualified NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying and Construction and was strongly recommended by the assessor and the firm to continue and complete my NVQ Level 3 in Advanced Brickwork Construction, which I achieved in 2003.

Following this achievement I made the decision to enhance my domestic build knowledge and experience, therefore moved on to a smaller but very reputable company in the area who carried out 80% of domestic building work and 20% of commercial builds.

Proceeding on from this I went to manage a site for the third biggest bricklaying contractor in the UK at the time. Following this step I was recognised for my professional organisational skills and high standard of work that I delivered and given the opportunity to manage their biggest site within East Anglia.

It was at this point in my career that it was the right time to build and form Dixon and Sons Construction Ltd along with my business partner.
